We’re pleased to confirm the senior side’s coaching set-up for the forthcoming season. Andrew Bishop retains the head coach position, whilst Craig Everett takes up the forwards coaching role.
‘Bish’ has proven his ability as a progressive young coach, balancing his role as a skills coach with the Ospreys, as well as taking the reigns as their newly established Under 23 defence coach, and keeping his role with Treorchy RFC. Since taking the head coach role with us 2 seasons ago, the team has won the Division One League title in his 1st season and the Mid District Cup & 3rd place in the league last season.
’Crag’ rejoins us after many years on the road honing his coaching skills. Success at Pontypool Schools & Monmouth saw Craig being selected by the Blues to coach the U18s whilst overseeing the U16s development at the Arms Park outfit this season.
We wish them both continued success for the coming season in all their rugby involvement.
Rhoss Davies completes the set up as Team Manager after working behind the scenes for the past 2 seasons.
Both coaches would like to invite any newcomers with the ambition to improve their game to come and join Treorchy RFC this season. Training is on Tuesday & Thursday at 7.00pm.
